Halosil Rapidly Responds to Coronavirus Outbreak in China
NEW CASTLE, DE (February 25, 2020) — Halosil International, Inc., the leader in whole room disinfection across a broad range of applications and environments, has increased production of its Halo Disinfection System® as the company rapidly responds to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Shipments of the company’s HaloFogger® and HaloMist™, which is registered both in the U.S. (EPA Reg. No. 84526-6) and by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC), are being sent to China weekly in order to meet the country’s immediate demand to disinfect healthcare facilities exposed to SARS-CoV-2 pathogens.
Halosil is enabled to quickly and effectively deliver its proprietary HaloMist™ solution across mainland China due to the company’s longstanding partnership with ShanNuoshi Trading Co. Ltd in Beijing. This partnership provides Halosil a vast and established network of technicians, sales team members, and regulators in China who are familiar with the product—along with an already-available library of translated instructional and informational materials. The partnership with ShanNuoshi Trading Co. Ltd has empowered Halosil to leverage established channels to more quickly connect facilities with the critical healthcare-strength disinfectant they require to fight COVID-19.
“For over six years, we’ve worked with Halosil to achieve the highest standard in whole room disinfection,” said Mrs. Zhangli, CEO of ShanNuoshi Trading Co. Ltd. “Today as we work to fight the further spread of SARS-CoV-2 pathogens, our longstanding partnership has proven critical as Halosil works tirelessly with our team to deliver the Halo Disinfection System® to newly built and existing healthcare facilities.”
The Halo Disinfection System® is produced in the United States and upholds stringent U.S. standards for quality and efficacy. In addition, by producing its products in the U.S., Halosil has avoided the production delays that are occurring across China as factories remain closed due to the virus.
“In response to the coronavirus’ rapid appearance and spread, we’ve added additional shifts at our production facilities in order to increase output to meet the world’s immediate needs,” said Chris Ungermann, Chief Executive Officer of Halosil International, Inc. “In addition to China, we have existing partner networks in Japan, Philippines, South Korea, and Vietnam—which have been hotbeds of activity outside of China—as well as other nations across Asia and around the world. As the coronavirus continues to spread, we are prepared to serve as the world’s steadfast solution for whole room disinfection, wherever outbreaks may arise.”
Halosil offers national distribution of the Halo Disinfection System® to the U.S., as well as countries across six continents.
