Halosil International Expands its Reach to the Global Market through the Addition of International Distributors

NEW CASTLE, DE (April 16, 2019) — Halosil International, Inc. the leader in whole room disinfection across a broad range of applications and environments, today announced the addition of international distributors to its list of authorized vendors for the Halo Disinfection System^®. The addition of several new, global distribution partners marks the introduction of Halosil’s proprietary hydrogen peroxide-based formula to an expanded set of countries that stand to benefit from its proven 6-log kill rate against a broad spectrum of microorganisms.

Halosil’s further expansion into foreign markets comes at a time of great strength for the U.S. dollar, demonstrating that Halosil is not only the most effective system on the market, but also the most affordable. This is a crucial advantage for foreign distributors, as many nations around the world are currently seeking a truly cost-effective, efficacious solution to combat high and rising rates of infection. In fact, reports show that the frequency of intensive care unit-acquired infections is two to three times higher in low- to mid-income countries than those in higher-income countries. In these same low-income nations, device acquired infections are 13 times higher than in the U.S., further accentuating the need for greater levels of efficacy across global markets.

The most recent nations to host authorized distributors include Argentina, the Dominican Republic, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
