Halosil Commits to Provide Disinfection Solutions to Transportation; Hires Jack Martinson as Vice President of Mobility Markets

NEW CASTLE, DE (July 9, 2021) — Halosil International, Inc., the leader in whole room disinfection across a wide range of environments, fortifies its commitment to deliver disinfection solutions to transit centers worldwide by onboarding Jack Martinson as the new Vice President of Mobility Markets. In this capacity, Martinson will lead Halosil’s transit sales efforts to the government and private sector, connecting and educating train and bus operators on the Halo Disinfection System®.

Martinson brings to Halosil decades of executive business development expertise covering a range of industries, including railway vehicles, automotive, aerospace, and defense, at organizations like Hyundai Group of South Korea, Alstom Transportation, Bombardier Transportation North America, and Faiveley Transport North America.

“Today’s riders are more concerned with their health and safety when riding than ever before,” said Martinson. “I am excited to bring my expertise to the Halosil team and join in their commitment to deliver disinfection solutions designed to protect the well-being of transit workers, commuters, and travelers.”

“As high-traffic environments, public transit is a prime location for germs and viruses to spread,” said Maryalice St. Clair, Chief Commercial Officer at Halosil International. “In line with our ongoing efforts to understand the challenges of transportation and best serve this sector, we have brought on Jack Martinson as a senior member of Halosil. Jack brings extensive experience in transportation solutions, strategic planning, and project management to Halosil, and we are thrilled to have him as part of our team.”

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Halosil has partnered with transit systems in Dallas and Boston to deliver the Halo Disinfection System®. The proven solution delivers HaloMist disinfectant (EPA Reg. No. 84526-6) via a dry fog to reach germs in all the cracks and crevices where they lurk. To best serve transportation, Halosil developed a specialized fogger system—the HaloFogger® POD—designed specifically for transportation. The easy-to-use system allows cleaning crews to disinfect trains and buses without ever having to enter the vehicle, decreasing the time, manpower, and cost of routine disinfection.
